PRELIMINARY

◆ Report Parameters: These are report-specific variables that can be

modified by users at runtime. These can be use to add a degree of

runtime customizability or interactivity to reports.

PALETTE

The Report Designer Palette contains a set of elements that can be

imported into reports.

The following elements can be imported from the Palette into reports:

◆ Pointer Select: Selects individual report elements.

◆ Rectangle Select: Enables the selection of multiple elements.

◆ Label: Inserts a static line of text in the report.

◆ Text: Inserts a block of paragraph text in the report.

◆ Data: Inserts a data set column or expression result.

◆ Image: Inserts an image from a file or a URL.

◆ Grid: Inserts a row or column layout structure for arranging other

elements in the report.

◆ List: Inserts a presentation of data in rows.

◆ Table: Inserts a presentation of data in rows and columns.

◆ Chart: Inserts a chart into the report using the chart wizard.
